1. I mailed in my absentee voter registration last week...
2. Which is actually quite pointless.
3. I don't want to be all whiny about "my vote doesn't count"...
4. But it actually really doesn't.
- - a) I mean it will not affect anything.
- - b) Because I am an Illinois voter.
- - - i. And Obama is going to win in Illinois.
- - - ii. And I am voting for Obama.
- - - iii. But that doesn't really matter because Obama is still going to win in Illinois without my vote.
- - - iv. So my vote isn't going to help him become Prez.
5. See? The electoral college system is whack.
